Sue Shannons says: “After a lifetime of cooking for others, it can be very hard to continue to find the energy and inspiration to cook interesting, healthy food for oneself. We are a small group of 6 maximum, this number has proven manageable as some of our number do not have the space to accommodate more. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, taking it in turns to prepare a meal suitable for one, or more. To date we have sampled, Weight watchers Chicken with Papaya, Fish Veracruz and Chickpea Curry, all very delicious. We try to keeps menus simple as complicated cooking for one can be rather onerous. Due to the problem of kitchen/dining space this group is closed at present.
