When 4th Monday of the month Time: 1.30 - 3 pm Charge $3 per person, per session for the room hire Where: Heathcote Community Centre, 45 Bridle Path, Road Spaces are still available for this group. This group hears about travels that our members have enjoyed and experienced. Usually two speakers per session. Presentations in 2025 have included: May 26th - Elizabeth Rayner, Lynette Hartley - Pacific adventures: cycling & kayaking in Samoa - walking & tramping in New Caledonia June 23rd - Mary Parker, Peter McDonald - Amazon, South America July 28th - Robin Fear - Working as a volunteer in Cebu City, Philippines August 25th - Sandy Verstappen - Norway - Biff Frederickson -Switzerland September 22nd - Joan Simpson - Vietnam Future presentations are: October 20th - Elizabeth Rayner - Shetland Islands - Up Helly Aa 2004 (Fire festival) and Shetland Wool Week 2016. November 24th - Myrah Moon - Nursing on cruise ships in the 1970s. January 26th (2026) - Vivienne Allan - Working in Antarctica.
