One of the most important things we can do as we get older is write our memoir whether for family or a wider audience. Family history, like genealogy is very important. We meet on the first Thursday of every month at 10am at the Birdwood Cafe, Birdwood Ave. Everyone has a topic to write about which has a connection to their memoir and can be incorporated into any chapter. We are well into the year now and members are starting to define their style, the possible chapters, subject material and how to do their research. Family trees are essential to be able to place people and dates in the correct order and also to ensure name accuracy.
