Welcome to 2026. We will restart our group on Thursday 5 February. Writing a memoir is very personal and in this group we aim to give our members as much help as possible to research, interview and write their personal life story. We do this for our families so that they have a written record of earlier days, events, personal experiences and times. Our group meets on the first Thursday of every month at 10am at the Birdwood Cafe, Birdwood Ave, Beckenham. Everyone has a topic to write about which has a connection to their memoir and can be incorporated into any chapter.
